Lone Pine Motel

Location was great right on main road south close to the end of Avenue of the Giants. Ice machine although manager had to access because it was locked.

Floors could have been cleaner. Air con was loud. No power outlet except near air con had to put phones on bedside table perched on luggage rack. No shelf or table or towel rails in bathroom.

For the price it was a very good Motel. However compared to other hotels / motels , it's very old.

The owner is very friendly. The property looks good and is in a very convenient location. There are grocery outlets and restaurants nearby. Parking is available on the property. The exterior of the property is well-maintained and it is clean. The room was spacious with a lot of storage space.

Very dated. Everything is old and looks its age - the room and amenities badly need renovation. The microwave turntable did not rotate well. Very small refrigerator. No coffee machine (though the room claimed to have one). There was a lot of storage space - but the cabinets are very old and nearly breaking off the hinges. Only one trash bin in the bathroom - the room had none. Only one chair in a room that can accommodate 4 people.

The outside is fine but the rook needs update and slot of repairs

It was conveniently located and they had mattress covers.

Not enough towels for the number staying and one was stained. Very low shower head. Filthy floor. Terrible soap. Window didn’t lock. No coffee pot even though site said it did. Slow internet. No disposable cups. Loose sink handles. No bath mat. No housekeeping. We had to ask for more towels, toiletries, and garbage disposal. Photos did not match the room.

Room was just ok for cheap price wanted for this trip: needed room only to sleep & shower. No lamps on end tables. Only light was center of ceiling. Had to stand on chair to reach controls on air conditioner mounted on wall 7 feet above floor.

The owner Anil was very kind and helpful with respect to room features, motel features, and information regarding Garberville and the special event I attended, Reggae on the River. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was great with plenty of hot water.

The soap selection for the room could have been of better quality but I purchased some across the street at Rays grocery. I also purchased facial tissues as none were provided.
