We really liked, that owners were really nice to us. It was cool to feel Indonesian village life.

But.. I know it was cheap, but there was so many bugs and mosquitoes, that we had really hard times.. mosquitoes net didn’t helped at all. Another important thins was ants. Mattress is on the ground, so they go all over the sheets, goes on you when you sleeping. Crazy roosters.. sometimes they used to start 2-3am to scream like crazy. First couple days we couldn’t sleep at all. All days they used to wake us up around 4-5am. The net was holding a lot of dust on it and it was falling on us.. it’s pity, because owners looked really nice.

I liked being out of the city centre, nice hosts, restaurant on site, hot water worked well and shower overlooking the jungle.

I was aware of the no AC but there was also no fan, making sleeping difficult due to heat. There was a rooster that crowed approximately every hour forward of 2am for 10mins waking me all night. If you’re a light sleeper and is your priority then maybe reconsider. But cool experience otherwise.
