Palm and Pawn Motor Inn

The pub was amazing. The food was 10/10 and pices were good. The outside area was terrific. Very nicely presented and the staff were efficient and friendly.

The first glitch was my booked room wasn't on their system.. After showing receipts and the acceptance and messages for the booking on Booking.com, I was given a room for my daughter and myself. So the room had not been cleanned/prepared. The room we were given was cramped and shabby. Half the reverse cycle was blocked by a massive cupboard, so arriving in sweltering heat, this wasn't ideal. The sliding bathroom door was hanging half off. The carpets were stained. There were dead flies scattered around the room, and a spider on its web in the shower recess.. The dounle bed was sagging ( very uncomfortable)and had a definite lean, so it was hard to not roll out and if you slept on the right hand side.. The convenience of being close to the bistro was countered by the Saturday entertainment. If you were in the beer garden listening to the singer/guitarist, it's would gave been great, but trying to sleep with the entertainment so close to the rooms was not so great.... and finally, the 2 inch cockroach I had to kill, in fear it'd crawl over us while sleeping, was again not great.

Awesome property. The bar staff were all friendly and helpful.

Due to a fire incident out there control we were evacuated for over an hour and when we arrived back our unit there was no power and I couldn’t sleep because my sleep apnea machine had no power and no aircon as well and in the morning still no power

Great playground, comfortable bed, very nice pub.

The coffee cups were put away dirty and were stuck to the spot. No cutlery and plates in room however the room had a toaster. Talked with staff, they don't provide cutlery and plates. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Having no clue there would be an event on that played loud music until 12 pm and we had to get up to continue travel at 5 am the next morning.

The pub area was amazing

The room was very outdated, their was still previous persons hair in the bathroom

Value for money, clean, comfortable, good hotel restaurant

Rooms need updating, internet terrible
