Dayuh House

Very comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and cozy. The host was very warm and cooked us a nice breakfast. The view from the balcony is amazing - you can see the sea from far :) There are also some small warungs for dinner just 5 mins walk from Dayuh.

Beware of mosquitoes :) carry repellents.

The bed is super comfortable, the room is good. The host was very sweet and helpful to find us a ride and a scooter! Good warung next door, nice views of sunset. Good banana pancakes!

The location is extremely far from everything, full of stray dogs who bark at all times like at 5am (especially one who kept going into the villa and on our door step), it’s very scary at night, and unless you want to drive 20 minutes back and forth to get dinner, you need to find a warung next door and it’s stressful when it’s dark. It’s super far from the beaches on either side of the island. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. And on the first day while we were gone, the staff came into our room to close the AC, but didn’t even do room service, which is disappointing. They did on the second day though. The toasts at breakfast lack butter/jam; they’re pretty dry.

It was good cleaned up room, location is in center of the island, little off from the port and should book this property if planning to stay for 2 or more days.

It has its own authenticity and amazing energy there. Room was big enough, spacious. Staff over there was so helpful and attentive. Price is super good if you compare it with the facilities offered. Everywhere in Nusa Penida requires transportation- so location was not a problem at all. There is very nice warung 2 minutes walking distance and also some small markets in the neighborhood.

Nothing that I didn’t like.
