Stargazing Beach Hut on Mudeford Sandbank with wake up sea views

Beautiful location. Cosy feel. Stunning walks along the beach and under cliffs at far end of row of huts. Loved the sound of the sea and watching groups of birds. Sunset over the lake and sunrise over the sea.

The land train wasn't operating on both arrival date and departure date. Worth checking this in advance if possible. Fairly long walk with heavy backpacks but really didn't need to take so much as everything there. Cafe and small shop close at various times of day depending on demand. Also worth checking with them on arrival. Fortunately we bought food there and heated up later.

We feel the beach Hut had the best location facing the beach side which seemed quieter than the other side. It had everything for the children so next time we will know not to bring as much, games, bucket spades, boat and surfboard.

Location was stunning

We had a great stay at Julian’s beach hut! Amazing location, right on the beach with views of the Isle of Wight out the front and Christchurch harbour at the back. The hut was really well appointed and very comfortable. The toilet/shower block was a short walk away, clean and with a good supply of hot water. We ate breakfast at the beach restaurant which was lovely. All in all a great stay and we hope to return one day!

-If you’re planning to arrive by land train from Hengistbury Head, be advised they stop for a lunch break (12.40-13.40 at the time of writing), so the train doesn’t run during this time. -We weren’t able to use the Ipad provided to watch a film as there was insufficient charge and we weren’t able to charge our devices. If this is something you’d like to do, then it might be worth taking your own powerbank.

The property was very cute, comfortable, clean, well equipped, had little extras that made you feel welcome, perfect location

Ideally located on a beautiful sandy beach with the IOW as a backdrop

It was all great but would have been good to have a working table

Lovely well equipped hut with incredible views.

In need of some tlc and a deep clean, windows upstairs jammed, inside and outside tables broken, broken blinds. Broken picnic tables etc dumped outside the hut (on the other side of the wall). We slept on the sofa bed as it was too hot to sleep upstairs without ventilation, it was extremely uncomfortable so probably not suitable for adults.
