Sandaway Holiday Park

It was very convenient for me to attend a wedding being held at Sandy Cove Hotel. The views and outside seating area was brilliant. Shower was lovely and large. Very warm, nice and quiet and the site was kept lovely amd clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

The Hidaway was not that clean, not terrible but definitely needed a clean as thier was quite a few cobwebs. Only had 4 large dinner plates for a apartment that sleeps 6. The kitchen facilities very basic and need another rack in the oven. The mattress on the top was very thin.

Staff were amazing Site was clean and tidy The pool was 👍 great Ingenious conversion of the table.

No manual in the hideaways Had trouble working the TV in the lounge. The bedroom one had no remote and wouldn't work at all saying no connection. Smelly oil from the kitchen 😔 Not enough tables and chairs to accommodate Murder Mystery on the Friday and Saturday 😞

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The nicest I’ve ever been in.

Super friendly staff and a real pride in the in the site is evident. Spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained

Nothing to dislike

location is decent and the views are absolutely lovely, which is a shame because with some improvements this could be a fantastic place to stay. Sadly, it just didn’t meet expectations this time.

unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. The caravan itself was not clean on arrival, which set the tone for the stay. The beds were just about average in comfort, and the whole place felt very run down — this included the pool area, which definitely needs some TLC. Overall, the site has a tired feel and could do with a thorough update and better maintenance.
