Balmoral Motel

Although breakfast was not included in the price, the unit was fairly priced and good value for the charge. We appreciated their willingness to move us to a better room upon discovery that the original one did not have adequate lighting and the television unit would not work.

When we arrived, we were given an old room [#1] that wasn't properly equipped. There were no bedside lamps, and the television wouldn't work. When I went looking for help, the office was locked and there was no staff on site that evening, and I had to call a number posted on the glass entry door. Thankfully, a person came within fifteen minutes. When his attempt to fix the TV was unsuccessful, he offered to move us to the newer section of the motel to a nicer room [#12] that was properly equipped with furniture, lighting, a working television, and a nicer bathroom.

Very very basic accommodations. Price was not what was quoted on the website nor was breakfast included like was stated on the website.. when it was mentioned, they said they didn’t have time to update the site. Room was clean, but lots of little things that made for a not so great time there. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. There’s no clock in the room nor USB plug-ins. No coffee machine, Walls were bare outside of one small picture., making it a really cold and unwelcoming space, furniture is really worn and scratched up, curtains were thread bear in spots, letting the light in even when you had them closed, the front desk is unoccupied outside of 3 PM to 11 PM, no military discount. On the positive, it is across the street from a grocery store and the liquor store and walking distance to the Main Street in tatamagouche. Likely won’t book there again.

Well, room are very basic with the minimum, coffee and the you have to walk outside to get it, free parking well how do you think you will arrive? Last years price for the same was 138 with breakfast, now 150 and no breakfast and now the bakery serve breakfast interesting. oh don’t arrive to earlier no one is there before the check-in at 3:00 pm.

Propreté, confort, service courtois, rapport qualité-prix. Beau village. Il y a un comptoir alimentaire sur place.

Le comptoir alimentaire ne fait pas le service aux tables. Il faut faire la file pour commander. Ensuite les tables pourraient être indisponibles.

It was the worst driving experience of my life. I drove at night to get there and you know that there are no good roads. Do not go at night at all. But in the morning you will see that the motel is in a very beautiful place. There is everything you need and there is a grocery store in front of the motel. How great. Pull the curtains to one side and have breakfast with a view of the river.
