Budget Inn Watkins Glen

Very well located in Watkins Glen. Walking distance to a grocery store. Rooms had fridge and microwave.

Room had sort of a funky smell, like dirty socks. Bathroom light flickered until it got warmed up, after about 15 minutes. Decor was a mix but mostly dated. Rooms were spacious.

Easy accessible and near to downtown, clean room neat maintained and nice hospitality

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The area was perfect, free parking directly in front of our room. It was very quiet. Beds were comfortable, heat worked perfectly for the brisk fall temperature. Free coffee and pastry served daily. Good working wifi in room; lots of TV channels to watch. Highly recommend and I'd stay there again any day!

We ended up in Watkins Glen while looking for waterfalls. We had not booked a place to stay for the night, so we were scrambling last-minute to find a low to moderately-priced hotel. Luckily, there was a room available here at the Budget Inn. Room was clean, updated flooring & windows, loved the lighted mirror in the bathroom. Loved having ability to open window in room & window in bathroom. Loved the little sitting area/porch outside our room- we ate our breakfast there. Hanging baskets of flowers on porch were a nice touch, too. We would stay here again!

For breakfast, would have liked to see protein options, such as peanut butter, yogurt or eggs. We booked at last minute, so didn't have a choice, but we wish we'd had option to reserve a room with a queen or king- size bed. Double beds are a little too small for my hubby & me, so we ended up sleeping in separate beds.
