Budget Inn

No breakfast. Single story and was able to park near the room. Fairly quiet even though near a major intersection. Older motel that had been reworked. New fixtures. Good Mexican restaurant next door. Two other motels nearby.

Vinyl floor was not clean and did not appear to be cleaned while I was there. Refrigerator wobbled around in cabinet when you touched it. TV did not work when I checked in and office would not respond. Lighting was strange. 4 can lights, two at foot of beds and two over middle of bed. Could not read in bed. Air conditioner even though fairly quiet sounded like someone breathing when not running. Only one well worn chair that was difficult to use. Room is really a little small for two queen beds. Parking lot pretty small with a few pickups in it.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfy.

I arrived much later than planned due to traffic hol-up on I-10. Owners were very accomodating.

It was much further south than the TX map showed. I had to stop and ask for directions twice.

For the price, the room was big, clean and the bed was super comfy.

Kind of dark.
