Green Acre Motel

When we visit family we always stay here as we have never had a problem, the rooms are comfortable, the new updated ones especially, and the staff couldnt be more helpful.

Toilets are low/ standard size, so if you are used to higher ones that can be a surprise

A very comfortable stay albeit for just one night. The staff are incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. They deserve a special mention. I also ate there and the food was great.

When you see the place for the first time don’t be put off by the initial appearance. It really is ok.

What I liked about the Green Acre Motel was the excellent parking, the amazing food, and the outstanding staff. The shower was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel.. and I’ve stayed in many.

Wgat I didnt like The atmosphere of the bar felt intimatdating, lots of locals very drunk, broken paving in carpark which damaged my car as unsure that thre was a dip behind me. The bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel the base indrneath. Lots of flys in the riom too. Little ones. And spiders. Tv channels didnt work for sky which was noted on the door they do.

The rooms were quiet.

The clientele were far too loud, swearing, shouting etc., Great difference to our previous stays. Such a shame.

We had a full Welsh breakfast, there is also cereals, toast, tea,coffe and juice., We also had an evening meal most nights, (10 night stay). The food really is very good and reasonably priced with a specials menu and childrens meals, make sure you book tables in advance, the Resturant is very popular. Our room was very clean and housekeeping staff ensured we had everything we needed nothing was to much trouble for them. Bar staff and dinning room staff also very good, always helpful. We have stayed there many times before. Excelent price and certainley value for money. Close to Porthcawl and Bridgend oulet stores, plus local shops 10 minute walk away and takeaways.
