Wooden Beach Sunset Cottages

Great location, great people and amazing view and value for money!

The hosts were absolutely amazing. The cutest. It felt like home by the time we left. They were always there to say good morning and hello when we got back. There is now a pool which was fab and the steps down go straight into the lagoon. You can walk all the way out to the middle and get an amazing view of the whole coast of the island. The location here is also amazing not at all far from the yellow bridge and plenty of nice places just along the road for breakfast lunch and dinner. The accommodation is basic but for £10 a night absolutely fab value for money. The beds really comfy and I didn't have any issues with the air con but I stayed in Dec so not as hot as it could be. Also there are only 6 rooms so this is a nice quiet place to stay. The breakfast was basic but for the price great that it's included and it was tasty and filled a hole and was easy to order. There is a cafe literally 1 min away to top up if needed. The setting of the cottages is also fab with an awesome view of Lembongan and the coast of Ceningan as well as loads of plants surrounding the cottages. I would DEFINITELY recommend a stay here if you are looking for somewhere basic but comfortable. For something more luxurious there are actually a lot of options but these are located more near Mahana Point/Blue Lagoon side of the island.

There was nothing I didn't like but something to be aware of is that the 6 rooms are split so that 2, 2 and 2 share a wooden wall. The walls are very thin so you can literally hear everything between the two cottages. It was fine for me because I came as a three so I had one cottage and my friends had the other and there are no secrets between us haha. The bathrooms are also shared and you can talk over the wall to your neighbour which again was great for me as I was with friends but I may have felt a bit less comfortable if I was on my own and next to someone I didn't know.

A beautiful stay! The rooms were comfortable, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is literally looking into the ocean with restaurants close by. It's great to see that the property is busy building a pool overlooking the ocean, that will be completed in 2 months. Worth a stay.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed staying in this warm family guesthouse. Rooms were spacious, and the bed was super comfy It's definitely a come back to stay place
