Palm Forest Palolem

Fernandez restaurant on the beach, brilliant service, attentive waiters and good food.

The room was not particularly clean, the boys who clean need to be trained. The restaurant was grubby, the library books were thrown in the sand, it needed to be swept, and the waiters appeared disinterested. There was no hot water until after 3 pm, if you were lucky!

The food was excellent. Really delicious breakfasts which we enjoyed and we're the highlight. Had a massage onsite which was very good too. The vibe overall was nice and relaxing - enjoyed the hammocks and proximity to the beach. We got a warm welcome, the staff were friendly. Feels like cleaning and facilities need improvements.

Overall for the amount we paid for our trip, we expected better. We stayed in places that cost less but were better. The cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom on arrival was not great - felt like bathroom hadn't been cleaned thoroughly - toilet seat was dirty. Also found random bits of rubbish on the floor. We never had a single hot water shower. We were told on arrival there would be no hot water after 12, but we never experienced this. Thirdly we asked twice for our safe to be fixed as it seemed to have run out of batteries. Twice told housekeeping would be called, which didn't happen.

From the moment I arrived the super friendly staff immediately checked me in eventhough it was only 10 am. Bungalow 4 was so perfectly designed with comfy bed and every amenity that one could ask for. Breakfast was your choice on the menu and each dish was generous and delicious portions with the freshest ingredients. There was a " chill Vibe " in the air which is exactly what I needed after almsot a month of backpacking in India. Palm Forest was my last stop of the journey and it really was a special stay. The staff are all really accomodating and it is obvious that they enjoy engaing with the hotel guests.

The property is beautiful.. peaceful and very close to the beach. However, customer service is not good. From waiting for the luggage to be collected to getting the room cleaned, we had to follow up multiple times. Wet small towels are not replaced if not told. Booking.com shows breakfast is complementary and it was confirmed by the property personal Sonali. Last day of the stay, the reception reached out to say only one food and one drink was complimentary. They should have either mentioned that one item is complementary or briefed when we arrived at the property. Services need to improve

Customer service should improve and staff needs to be aligned with the guests. Rooms are smaller than what was shown in the photo. No parking at the property. We need to pay for parking 200 MTr away from the property

Location near the beach was great and staff were very friendly.Breakfast was excellent.

Lack of hot water, cold showers on all but one day. No water on a few occasions. Lack of any organisation and vastly overpriced. Had to ask for room to be cleaned properly as was not done on first two days.

Auch wenn wir nur zwei Nächte da waren, hätte das Zimmer mal gereinigt werden können.

Отзывчивый персонал, в номере не работал кондиционер, проблему решить не удалось, переселили в номер классом выше.

Идти до отеля нужно через чепуши, до пляжа дорога такая же, грязная и не ухоженная.
