Procida Camp & Resort - Ciraccio

Having seen the pictures/videos and read about the resort I had really high hopes for the site. We really liked the idea that it was near the beach, it was air conditioned with a private bathroom and was a cool, quirky way to end our trip. The tent did have all the amenities you'd look for in a room and the site had a bar offering food and drinks should you want it. There were also bikes, SUPs and beach chairs/umbrellas to rent on site should you want them. The highlight of our stay was the staff, who were particularly lovely, welcoming and knowledgable. The breakfast was nice, if a little short-staffed and the port transfer service to and from the site being included in the cost was a very welcomed gesture. Over all we enjoyed our stay and want to thank the staff at the site for their hospitality!

There were however a number of points where i'm sorry to say I did unfortunately feel a bit disappointed by, especially considering that this was the most 'expensive' stay of our trip. The bar prices were very steep considering how cheap it is elsewhere on the island. We often ended up walking 2mins up the road to a vending machine selling the same drinks for 1/4 of the price. We were told that Pizza's were available to order at the site but when we came to order one we were told there weren't any available that night. This might be the norm, but would have been nicer to have known this in advance. The tent is billed to have had flaps to fold up at night to be able to "watch the stars" from bed. But the roof of the tent was so dirty from the surrounding trees/beach that this wasn't possible and they weren't cleaned in day to day maintenance. The "private" bed/lounger in front of the tent backed onto to the neighbouring tents bed/lounger, separated only by a small bush. We were lucky they didn't use theirs during the stay as we basically could have reached out and touched them. Didn't feel very 'private' sadly. We rented bikes to travel around the island which were a great idea and we really recommend the experience. However, when we came to rent them the first bikes offered were low on battery, the second had a punctured tyre and the third set, only one of the brakes worked and it wasn't very effective. Feel like they should be checked and more thoroughly maintained. Especially considering that other companies on the island offer "brand new" bikes at a lower rental price. Lastly, during the night the neighbouring dogs regularly barked and howled during the night and for 2 of the 3 nights there was loud pumping music being played from a club/bar nearby.

Gorgeous spot in a stunning place

The beach is a 30 second walk, with beautiful sunsets every day. A short walk along the beach will take you to a beach with cleaner water, a pay area, and restaurants. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The kids really enjoyed playing in the grass garden and having a campfire. The supermarket is a bit far, but we rented bicycles so we could go to many places at our leisure. I would definitely go back.

When it was windy or raining heavily, it was noisy since it was a tent, but other than that, it was really great.

It’s so green there! So pleasant to walk without boots :)) And although tents are placed quite close to each other, you still feel privacy. And the tent itself was veeeery cosy! Beach is just 1 min walk :)) Breakfast is good, also you can order lunch and dinner on place. Camp is situated in a very good place on island! Very calm and close to grocery shops. Also, the transfer from the port and back was provided! We really enjoyed our stay! It was the only place during our vacation in Napoli and Procida where we had a good service :)

This was the best place I've ever stayed at! Such cozy rooms, very nice staff, close to the beach, great breakfast. They also provided shuttle service to/from the ferry and late check-out. Strongly recommend this place!

Great tents and lovely cats that join you in bed!

It is super near the beach! The bungalow is super clean and nice .

When you are under, everyone can see you because the tent has open windows. It is really hot downstairs, because an airco is only upstairs. It is not central, you do not have restaurants or a market near the stay.

Modern and comfortable facilities, helpful and professional staff, and right by the beach (1min walk!). Also the camp arranges a pick up and drop off from the harbour which is super helpful.

Be aware there can be mosquitoes outside the tents
