Houseboat Seabreeze

Nice houseboat in a convenient location. Host was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Very well equipped houseboat and it was really nice sitting on the front deck watching the world go past. In the end I utilised the sofa bed as I am 195cm tall and it was too cramped for me. Sofa bed was good. Otherwise really well equipped and everything has been thought of for you.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a stay was provided. Claudia was an excellent host collecting us from the airport after a late evening flight. Even had snacks and wine waiting on our arrival. Communication was very good nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Very good location between beaches and the old town. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolut nichts.

I enjoyed every single moment of my 8 day stay on the Seabreeze and did not want to leave when the time came. I had imagined there would be limitations to what facilities were possible on a houseboat but I was wrong. There was great air-conditioning, a full-size fridge and the shower was better than my shower at home. Each evening, I went up to the sundeck and laid out on a lounger with my book, enjoying the gentle rock of the boat. Once the sun went down (always spectacularly), I'd go down and sit on the front deck enjoying my evening meal with a glass of wine and listening to the sounds of the marina winding down for the night. It's worth saying that there are lots of Italian families staying on their own boats at the marina so everything feels very safe and, while you are not disturbed by it, you do not feel isolated. In my 8 day stay, no-one ever played music or did anything to disturb the peace and quiet and so I'm assuming this is a marina rule. In the evening, you might see boats returning and the quiet chatter of families catching up before bedtime but I'd say that by 10.30 p.m. everything was completely quiet. The walk into Alghero old town took about 15 minutes along the seafront. You can then walk along the walls to enjoy the spectacular sea views or take a boat excursion from the many on offer along the quayside. There is a small grocery store (EuroSpin, similar to Lidl) or a larger grocery store, Conan, in the opposite direction. Conan has more choice, a big wine and bakery section and more treats.... The icing on the cake is the hosting by Claudia, who is a natural hostess and intuitively knows how to care for guests while affording them private enjoyment of their stay.

My main issue is that Houseboat Seabreeze has ruined me for staying on dry land in the future. I now only want to stay on boats! I hope to be back to this one soon....

It was the most wonderful experience I ever had I sat on this beautiful little deck and had a glass of wine in the warm sun facing beautiful boats and lively people and as the houseboat slowly docked back and forth my body relaxed for the first time in years. The stress was gone. It was very clean and cute with the decorations. Claudia the owner arrive the second d day with a beautiful slate try of Sardinia appetizer and she gave me a beautiful Sardinia bottle of wine. I want to co e back and stay for a couple of weeks Claudia
