The room is very clean and comfortable, everything what you need for 1-2 nights is there.

you have to know, that smoking is AlLOWED there. Just on the bed is a sign that smoking is prohibited. So if you come in the room, the smell of smoke is significant! The conversations is very uncomfortable , because nobody speaks just one word English.

Everything was full in Takayama for the weekend and we needed one room to spend the night. it was a fun experience! First you should have a car - it's outside takayama. we were heading towards Kamicochi, so it was fine. once we arrived, they notice our presence, showed us the place to park, the room was just in front. very private (it's a motel!), everything was spotless clean and it had good amenities. price was very nice for the quality and it's fun experience. they don't speak english, use translator, call from the room they show up in 1 minute. they are friendly and everything's fine. past bad comments show that: people don't read what they are booking for, don't know what they are going to and are pussies overall.

you should get a better, more sturdy matress. the one in the room it's too soft. should be more confortable.

The staff didn't know any english, it was impossible to communicate with them. The worse part was the room has no key. There are a few doors, and the outer one is automotically locked. Even with us inside. Each time we wanted to leave in the morning we were locked. Someone came only after we shouted loudly, banged on doors and generally made a fuss. Even after the first time it happened when we tried to understand how to prevent it for later times, nobody available understood what we wanted. In general we do not think this place is suited for people who don't speak Japanese.

Jacuzzi bath was broken

Everything was OK, the place has seen better days, not as cheap as better love hotels elsewhere but better value than hotels in the area.
