Incredibly unique, so cozy, such a hospitable place. Great meals and a very rejuvenating onsen. Truly unforgettable.

I am not used to tatami sleeping but it is something you grow used to.

Food at diner and breakfast was very good. Staff is very nice though communication in English is limited.

Room was very cold at arrival and aircon then struggled to warm it up.

The breakfast and dinner provided were amazing! The hospitality and recommendations for skiing provided were also amazing.

The location is tough to reach especially if it’s snowing. That being said I believe they have a staff member who can take people up/down the mountain to the hotel depending on the time of the day (best to plan this ahead of time, otherwise you may not be left with a ride back to the hotel after skiing).

Went during autumn 🍂 season on a cycling trip from Karuizawa to Iiyama. Superb location , awesome and accommodating staff, great vegan food and very clean. Love the place and would like to visit again during the ski 🎿 season!

The facility was welcoming, the staff was exceptional, the onsen was great, and the food served was amazing. The room was comfortably traditional and clean, and just the right size.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast and dinner were amazing, and there was SO much food with so much variety. It was very worth it.
