Personal gibt sich trotz geringer Englisch-Kenntnisse Mühe und ist sehr nett. Ich hatte bereits ein paar Tage zuvor anreisen wollen und da ich auf Grund des Wetters und des dadurch ausgefallenen Shinkasen nicht anreisen konnte, haben sie mir diese Nacht rückerstattet. Auch wenn das Hotel und die Zimmer renovierungsbedürftig sind, war das Zimmer sauber und relativ groß (hatte ein normales/westliches Zimmer).

Das Hotel und auch der Onsen-Bereich sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Teppiche im ganzen Hotel sind fleckig und abgenutzt, die Schlösser im Onsen-Bereichen waren komplett verrostet, die Betten durchgelegen und es war total hell im Zimmer, da es nur dünne Vorhänge gab.

Due to a flight cancellation I arrived a day late but the property was able to hold me reservation for the second day. In the end I only stayed one night at the property but it was a positive experience. The hotel's location was central and close to all the attractions and shops and restaurants and cafes. The staff was friendly and professional and goes out their way to make the visitor feel at home.

The onsen was amazing. The traditional rooms were nice and had good facilities. The view was good and the staff was very helpful. They say that Kagoshima has the most friendly people in all of Japan, and this hotel proves it. Worth it for the onsen alone, but you get so much more!

Beautiful hotel in nice location. Room was spacious and onsen was pleasant. Delicious breakfasts in Japanese style.
