"Relaxing, lovely, and elegant"

We purchased the dinner and breakfast upon booking the room. Both were excellent. I notified the hotel that I could not each raw fish and they were able to provide substitutions for my meals. They were very polite and the attention to detail was superb. We also booked rooms with private baths outdoors and they were so, so lovely!

"Disappointing food for a ryokan Kaiseki experience"

Food was terrible. Staff also not well-attired. They really cut down on ingredients in the food and staff clothes

"Une pause luxueuse dans notre voyage"

Les qualités principales de ce lieu sont le calme parfait, la beauté et le plaisir offerts par l'onsen privé extérieur et sa terrasse et le niveau exceptionnel des repas, petit-déjeuner ou dîner … La taille et le confort de la chambre étaient parfaits. Une mention particulière à la gentillesse du personnel qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable

Néanmoins, l'absence de douche intérieure reste un souci, même si nous étions prévenus par des avis antérieurs : concrètement, un jour de pluie avec 10°, ça veut dire se doucher "vite fait" dehors … pas optimal !
