"A kind couple running a lovely Japanese inn with great breakfast and large rooms!"

This inn was expectational! Traditional Japanese breakfast was very good, and in a separate dining area just for us. The couple running the inn are extremely kind and generous. The location is a little "out of the way" (although still easy to get to by public transit) but I honestly enjoyed being away from the very busy areas of Kyoto. The room (multiple rooms really) are very large, with a private garden and with separate bath and powder rooms.

"A peaceful home away from home"

The location is in a peaceful part of town near the Daitokuji Temple. Bikes were provided for us to ride which made getting around town fun and more convenient. Their quaint sushi restaurant is attached to the home and we really enjoyed our dinner there. A hearty traditional Japanese breakfast was served each morning. The hosts are welcoming and thoughtful and put forth much effort to ensure their guests are comfortable.
