This hotel/onsen is right in the middle between the ferry dock and the main temple. Our ocean view room was on the pricy side but worth it for the view. We have been to the island three times before but staying on the island was such a wonderful experience. In fact two nights was wonderful but three would have been extra special. It is usually hectic with the crowds but we could go to different places when it was not crowded. The breakfast and dinners were amazing! Also it was so much food! The meals featured Hiroshima specialties such as oysters, anago, and various local vegetables. The staff was amazing! Robin (did not get her Japanese name) was so hospitable, friendly and made it an extra special experience! Modoritai desu. I want to return there!

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Oh, maybe that there was too much food but that’s a good thing!

The view from our room was lovely, out towards the sea and Torii gate. Perfectly located on the beach next to all the shops and cafes that are on the island. Great rooftop to overlook the bay with a tea or drink of your choice. Free ice cream too! Onsens are nice, you can book a private one out of three choices.

The dinner service could have been better - food not great and service was fairly blunt. I wouldn't say the food is worth the price.
