ジュラシック スパ &リゾート くつろぎの宿 樹楽 translates to Jurassic Spa & Resort Relaxing Inn Juraku. The hotel is located in Toon-City in an odd location. It sat in a car park across from a number of supermarket type stores but it meant there was plenty of free parking. We chose to stay here as the train journey from the nearest station (Minara) to Matsuyama is just 30 minutes. Easier to stay here than battle the traffic in Matsuyama even though the walk to the station was 20 mins. The hotel was built 25 years ago but in 2021 was fully renovated. The finish was superb and cleanliness impeccable. Guests were required to take off shoes and put them in lockers in reception to keep the tatami mat flooring clean. Everyone padded about in socks. The public spaces were huge and there were several comfortable lounges offering complimentary tea / coffee etc. Ditto several restaurant spaces. The main attraction for some guests is the spa which is included in the tariff. The spa had indoor and outdoor pools etc. Women's & men's separate facilities. I also took advantage of the beauty parlour. A very good 50 min exfoliation / massage was just 6,600 yen. Our accommodation package included breakfast and dinner and was very good value. A delicious multi course Japanese dinner was served in a very sophisticated space. Breakfast was slightly more fast food Japanese / European buffet.

The hotel seems to attract school age sports teams who crowded the breakfast space one morning. Best avoided as / when possible because of all the coughing and sneezing.
