The staff is nice and helpful! The room was clean and spacious! Truly soundproof too, I did not hear anything ♨️💕! There is a drinks vending machine outside the hotel and there are also free hot drinks 24/7 in the reception 😊 The WiFi was great! TV worked great! Absolutely no trouble! The staff called to check what time I'd like breakfast and was very accomodating to my dietary restrictions! 🙏 The breakfast was so yummy too! Bring some food and then there is a fridge, kettle and a microwave - you can do a lot with that 😊 It's quite a nice and calm nature spot! Great views from balcony! Right next to Kinkowan Park! 🚀🌹There is also a tiny beach that is by the Hirakawa Yacht Harbor around ~25minutes walk! Good spot to get in touch with nature 😊 Please note: I stayed solo as a tourist! Getting here was quite a challenge, this was my bad for not checking out the surroundings/public transport before booking! By public transport closest I could get was 25 minute walk away (Goino Station) - this was a very difficult walk with a big suitcase! At the time of writing there appears to be no uber in Kagoshima, so taxi might be hard for tourists without a Japanese phone number 🙏 I asked hotel to book me a taxi to Kagoshimachuo on the check-out day, as always they were accomodating, was so nice of them to help! 😊 Truly fantastic staff 💓 Also: There does appear to be a bus in the area too but I haven't figured out where to or from it goes and it does not appear on Google 😅 So, worth looking into!

This is quite far out from... Everything. Nearest convenience store is like half an hour walk. There are no local food places to walk to in the evening within 20 minutes walking distance... It's quite the outback! If you are without car, you will struggle. If you have a car then there are no negatives to this hotel 😊 It was a lovely stay! 💓😊 If you don't have a car... I recommend booking a taxi to and from hotel if you have a big suitcase! And bring lots of yummy food with you to have in the room 😊 Then you will enjoy the scenic walks withs Sakurajima 🌋 in the background to and from station and the location will not be a problem 😊💓
