"Ideal surf getaway"

Out of 3 months in Japan this was my favorite place. The kindest owner and staff - feels like you're staying in someone's home. 5 minute walk and you're on the beach. Comfortable rooms and sparkling clean bathrooms. Full kitchen with oil and spices, and speedy wifi good enough for video calls. Surf boards of all sizes and English speaking instructors. Not a crowded lineup. Plenty of food options. A peaceful existence of surfing, sunsets, and fresh fish. Mostly Japanese coming to surf, with a few foreigners sprinkled in. I booked for a week and stayed for 3!
