We loved the food. 10 course meal dinner. Breakfast was amazing too. True Japanese style cusine. Farm to table. Really fresh ingrediemts. Room was really clean and spacious. Onsen was clean too. Staffs were super friendly. We absolutely loved everything about this place.

Location. It is about 3 to 4 hours away from Tokyo. It is rather difficult to get there.

"Beautiful Ryokan"

Most friendly owner and staff. Best & beautiful food for both breakfast n dinner. Wonderful private spas: the Hydrogen spa by reservation only for 40 min each night of stay, with another 2 other spas available with no limits of use. As there are only 6 or 7 guest rooms, you can always find one available most time. We appreciate the lovely deco and live flower arts all around the ryokan. Of course there was the nice but short music performance at the end of dinner to compliment your stay.

Nothing really. Would have liked to explore the mountain trail which starts nearby but peehaos next time?
