Yuuhiken

Family owned property. Friendly host , we stayed here to see the sunrise at the castle . We got lucky , very amazing view up the mountains. 40 mins hike up a paved road. They gave us a very big room on the ground floor . Adjoining to a common room next to the bedroom. So it is quite spacious to put our luggages.

Might be better to have a small table chart to book the bathroom with other guests. Otherwise would have to wait a bit to take turn for shower.

The owner made our experience in this town 100% better. She drove us to our destination even after we checked out. She also told us to do the 5am hike to see the caste in the sky and that made our entire day.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by our host and her mother. The house is simy stunning, as is the small garden. Our room was a fantastic and super clean tatami room, and the dinner was sublime, just like the breakfast. We would definitely come again.

The very friendly owner and the half board arrangement is fantastic.

I really enjoyed my stay at Yuuhiken. Everybody was extremely nice and welcoming, and also really helpful. They even offered to drive me to Takeda station. The place was really clean and beautiful. And the kaisei cuisine meals were delicious !

Staff were very friendly and helpful and offered to drive me to local sites. Room was comfortable and clean and bathroom were spotless.

No convenience store nearby and restaurant choices not so plentiful. I reserved last minute so didn't get the meal plan but I knew this beforehand. Get the meal plan. It looked delicious.

Everything was wonderful, the host and team go the extra mile to ensure you are happy throughout your stay. The food is exceptional.
