Motel Sapnis

Price / value proposition. There is nice food place/bar on the 1st floor, which opens from 7am. Its very affordable home cooked food and draft beer is cheap.

We had a room with window to the high way. It was August and very hot. There was no air conditioner, so we needed to open the window. There was traffic noise plus noise from people drinking at bar so we couldnt sleep properly. At night traffic noise was ok but noise from bar attenders was terrible since we had window just above it.

Nice simple place for a stop-over when driving through the Baltics. 24h kitchen is definitely a plus - simple, hearty food (very good mashed potatoes for example). Surprisingly clean room - the place isn't brand new and it is impressive how well taken care of it is. Taking the room with the balcony is so worth it.

Mosquitos (not very many or very disturbing at the time, but still itches many days later.) Water pressure could be a lot better.

The room was really clean and tidy, food in the cafeteria was very tasty.

The bathroom equipment has seen better days. Teucks park also behind the motel and even if yiu've got room on the forest side it's practically impossible to sleep.
