ESEl desayuno es fantástico, la ubicación estupenda. La habitación también estaba muy bien, las camas/almohadas cómodas. Está en un lugar muy céntrico y a la vez sin ruido (para conseguir esto, hay que pasar por un pequeño callejón algo más apartado que nos costó encontrar el primer día)
No pudimos pagar con tarjeta en el propio establecimiento, aunque nos facilitaron la dirección del restaurante del mismo dueño donde pudimos pagar. Por cierto, dicho restaurante estaba fenomenal, se llama Kabana.
GBEverything was great - staff were friendly and accommodating and after some explaining they allowed us to pay day by day despite initially wanting payment upfront in full in cash.. my bank has a daily withdrawal limit on withdrawals like that so I had to pay in smaller chunks each day but this was fine by them once they understood the situation. I’d go as far as to say we became friends by the end of our stay. Oh and the breakfasts were great!! Fresh cooked for you when they see you’re awake at sitting at a table in the gorgeous courtyard. You’re then a mere 1 minute walk to the street food section of the souks to get great food and snacks and water etc, and that stretch comes alive at night more than ever which is great, and yet within the riad walls its total tranquility. 5 minutes walk to the square. You couldn’t be more central.
Nothing. Only that I wish they took card payments. Also for anyone with mobility issues just be aware that staying in a riad in the medina like this means you can’t get transport to the door - to get in and out involves a 5-10 minute easy walk through the medina out to where the taxis are.

BEWe werden er heen gebracht door een kruier met steekwagen. We hadden het anders nooit gevonden in het chaotische Marrakesh. Riad 117 is ideaal gelegen, middenin de medina en dicht bij het kloppend hart van de stad, maar straalt heel veel rust uit. De Riad is opgebouwd uit 3 verdiepingen, heel proper en met dakterras, evenwel zonder uitzicht op de stad. Vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg. Ontbijt werd aan tafel opgediend en was vers klaargemaakt ; sinaasappelsap, omelet, pannekoekjes. Een goed begin en ruime portie om de dag te starten! Mooie, gezellige kamer in een typisch Marokkaanse sfeer.
De Riad zou wel een likje verf kunnen gebruiken. De badkamer is redelijk donker en meer verlichting is aangewezen. Opbergmogelijkheden in de kamer zijn beperkt.
