Hotel De La Vallée

Really enjoyed our stay there. The host gave us a self-made map for the hike around the gorge and it was lovely to take the hike the day we stayed. Great food and lovely service.

Everything is great, staff is welcoming and super helpful. Breakfast is amazing and get you ready for exploring Morocco! Great location tho! Hotel staff even got us gear for ferrata which is nearby.

De locatie van dit hotel is echt fantastisch. Het ligt aan het begin van de Todra Gorges, de rotswanden omsluiten het hotel. Dat is een fascinerend gezicht. Het personeel is erg aardig. We hebben er gedineerd en ontbeten, alles was heel lekker.

De bedden zijn heel hard. Daar moet je van houden. Onze rug kon er niet goed tegen. Maar het is dus iets persoonlijks.

Nota positiva: i due ragazzi che lavorano tra cucina e reception, simpatici e disponibili. Aggiungo anche che la posizione è molto suggestiva, all'inizio delle gole.

Siamo stati accolti venendoci chiesto con insistenza se avessimo voluto cenare, cosa che abbiamo accettato di fare: la peggiore cena di tutto il viaggio in Marocco (anche la colazione è stata sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda). Una volta arrivati in camera era presente il condizionatore, ma questo era "escluso dalla prenotazione", per avere il telecomando abbiamo dovuto pagare 10€ in più e la modalità tramite la quale questa notizia è stata data è stata molto stile "abbiamo in ostaggio il tuo telecomando, se lo volessi usare per scaldare la camera sono 10€", si poteva sicuramente avvisare tramite un messaggio, come è stato fatto per la cena, che la nostra prenotazione non lo comprendeva. Ovviamente il phon non era in camera, abbiamo dovuto chiederlo. Quello era incluso però! Al 100% il soggiorno peggiore di tutto il Marocco.

Fantastic location next to the gorge & perfect for climbing. Hot water is perfect after winter hike. Views of oasis are amazing.

Room is very dirty but seems standard for guesthouses in this area, breakfast was poor.

The property was located steps away from the entrance to the gorge. The owner was very kind and helpful.

The beds were uncomfortable, the place generally feels dark and tired, and the shower would get everything in the bathroom wet when turned on.
