Dusky Motels

We loved our stay at Dusky! The room was very comfy, had everything we needed including in the kitchen (utensils, cutlery etc). The daily housekeeping was a nice luxury, particularly having fresh towels to come home to after a day out hiking. Really lovely view from outside the room and right near the lake which makes for a gorgeous walk and lovely photos. Recommend highly! 10 min walk to the centre of town including supermarket, restuarants/takeaway, bars/pubs etc.

The place was spotless, the linen fresh, serviced daily and it had everything I needed for a couple nights stay and the location was great. Thanks Ann for a great stay.

Like electric blanket idea.

The unit was modern, clean and very well maintained. Bed extremely comfortable and as we had the end unit we had a little deck outside that we could sit outside in the sun and admire the lovely view.

Not much storage if staying for any length of time. Location felt a little bit exposed with no fencing etc around it.

Location, quiet and minimal traffic, new and modern, suited our needs for 2 nights with our 6 & 8 year old kids.

Couldn’t fault it.

The location was a few blocks off the main street, so it was nice and quiet. The room was spacious and I liked that I could isolate the bedroom. The heat pump was great to keep the rooms warm during this winter stay. Parking was very convenient to load and unload.

I don't have anything negative.

Wish we could have a longer stay, but limited by our itinerary. The house exceeded our expectations on cleanliness, the cooking facilities are acceptable and I've enjoyed daily cooking. Though the stay is considered like an AirBnB, but there was daily cleaning, which we didn't expect to have. Heating in the house is appropriate, and we felt comfortable during our stay there.

The heating unit in the bathroom is above the sink, so when using the sink, the heater will blow hot air directly above our heads, not really an issue but it gets really hot so we turn it off.
