The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable.

We had trouble with the electric heater. It worked for a little while and then quit. We couldn't get it working again. Hotel staff looked at it and couldn't get it to work. Our only other option was the really old heater which hardly kept the room warm. It was cold. Later my husband finally got the first heater to work. During the night it quit working. We think it was set on a timer????

The shower, it switched from stone cold to painfully hot in seconds and back again several times without touching the controller

Good facilities including a laundry. Very welcome indeed. It was great for a short stay while touring South Island.
