Douro Houseboats

Poor air conditioning. Sheets and towels were as old as the boat especially considering the nightly fee. Wouldn’t cost a lot to get a new set. Only made up some of the beds. Thought it was a good idea to put a young child in a room which has electrical safety warning signs outside a cupboard that could not be locked.

Loved the pretty location! Very sweet host who was very attentive to our needs! Very cool boat that was stocked with everything. Dining option and recreation are available without driving anywhere.

In the morning they start with sunrise trips with Boats that are next to ours. People just don't know someone is sleeping next to them...But it's ok.

great location on the river. everything you need in a compact space and just a really memorable place to stay.

it’s a boat but the beds were quite small!
