Glamping Brodej

Sehr herzliche Gastgeber! Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker. Die Lage ist traumhaft idyllisch und man kann wirklich abschalten. Die Betten waren kuschelig. Im Häuschen gibt es einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber. Die öffentlichen Bereiche wurden jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Ich würde empfehlen alle notwendigen Lebensmittel für das Mittag- oder Abendessen auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft einzukaufen. Dann spart man sich den etwas längeren Weg zurück in die Stadt und zum nächsten großen Supermarkt. Ein Blick in das Museum ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder :-)!

Glamping Brodej is exactly what they say it - a wonderful, quiet glamping facility in the hills above Vitanje. I especially like quiet places, and as I was the only guest this weekend, I had the entire place to myself. The hot tub was a truly unique experience, and the poor weather did not matter at all! I am grateful to Jože and Biserka for being very welcoming hosts. Biserka ensured that the breakfast baskets were varied, and there was always more than enough left over for lunch, too. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, with all the important kitchen utensils for most food preparation, with some basics (milk, fresh juice, fruit syrup) in the common fridge. There is a small fridge in the chalet (Spominčica), which I found useful. If you do stay in the chalet Spominčica, with the hot tub, and you want hot water by the time you arrive, I suggest you request that they start the fire in advance. It takes about 2 or 3 hours to heat up. Please be aware, glamping is not a hotel. You are expected to clean up after yourself, wash your dishes, etc, and leave everything as you would wish to find it yourself. It's like camping, but with all the equipment provided.

Since the camp is in the hills above Vitanje, the last few kilometres are on narrow, twisty roads. Drive carefully and slowly, you never know when there will be an oncoming car.

We liked everything, the wooden houses, the hot tub, the food and the scenery. It is a perfect get away from the city.
