NOTHING ITS RIDICULOUS Put into a mosquito infested hut in middle of nowherr

Booked 2 nights, ran away after first it was so horrendous, Arrived about 20.30 in rain, ni obvious reception. a woman who said that her son has the computer and in another city? She knew nothing about us, kept standing in rain as she fluffed about trying to contact son. Did not listen when I said that we booked a standard double room and put us in a wooden hut not fit for glamping across a wet dark garden. Hut had bed and no sink or wifi, it was also swarmed by many mosquito's + insects of every kind. To use the toilet we had to trek across garden in dark or as host suggested just pee beside hut. The shared toilet could not be locked and again the host just shrugged when told about this. The shower was cramped and curtain fell down when trying to close it. The next morning the host disappeared to another town where she worked and said that we could talk to her son later, if he arrived. I got a msg telling me different rules from booking.com Check in until 21.00 between 21.00 - 23.00 a fee of 30 euros applied and later no check in possible The worst part is that there are no curtains in the hut, abdolutely no privacey as well as the non locking shared toilet. There is not even an electronic key dispenser as is usual for every other B&B TO Allow for late arrival, then they want an extra 30 euroes. The most u professional dump with no food at all and they said to avoid drinking the water. In arse end of nowhere without even a local shop Total waste of money I could write a novel for this one PS first photo shows white dots in corner and where wall meets roof, the white dots are sunlight shinning through

very nice place, you are in the middle of nature. the room is large, and the beds are comforty.

ac is not a very good idea to heat a room.

Very quickly contacted, they were waiting for me. Quick check in and nice hosts. The area is very beautiful. I really liked it. Any other time I would spend some time here.

great nature and hosts!

My daughter (whom I listed as a pet in the questionnaire above, as she is just that) and I arrived in Blatna Polianka at the very end of July, in the middle of the scorching summer heat, on our bicycles. The lady of the house, charm personified, took us in. We entered the gateway - and found ourselves at a place as close to paradise as it gets. A bar hidden in a wooden chalet gave us shelter from the sun and cold beer. Magnificent food - fish soup - arrived at the table free of charge, as we would learn later on. As the night wore on, we got to play guitar and sing with the hosts, some of the guests, and some locals. The local moonshine - borovichka - was flowing copiously (for close to zero in price to us). Horses were grazing in the garden, next to a makeshift children-sized chain carousel. It felt like there was not a worry in the world. "We are doing this for ourselves," the lady said with a smile. We extended our stay by one night, and felt sorry when leaving. "Don't forget to come back," said her husband in place of a regular boilerplate good-bye. And we won't forget.

There was one thing I felt was left hanging in the balance. The landlord, Michal, is an accomplished rock guitarist. I was trying to coax him into jamming a little bit, but the time was too short, or I wasn't good enough, or the stars were not aligned... But this doesn't really come into the "what I disliked" category. It's more like "what's my goal fot the next time". In the meantime, if you are fellow travellers inclined to stay at Nova zem, give it a shot yourselves...:)
