"FAILED expectations"

Bed and bath facilities appeared clean to the eye. Checkin was pleasant and easy. It DID have microwave and fridge and AC worked fine.

the outside of the building needs some attention. I generally overlook this if the room meets expectations. The room had a strong odor. I couldn't tell if it a dirty smell or overkill on cleaning chemicals but it was overpowering and I was afraid to breathe too deeply, afraid of chemical poison in my lungs. The carpenting was very old, stained and questionable. I did not walk in the room without shoes. I don't know how it has a VERY GOOD rating
