Bishop Elms Motel

It's a smaller motel with "actual keys" for the doors which we prefer. Had a very cozy retro feeling comfy beds and the office staff was very friendly. Very quiet, sets back off the main street and right next door to the City Park which you can easily walk to through the gate on their property.

De AC was zo luidruchtig op beide kamers dat we er niet van konden slapen.

Einfaches Motel an sehr guter Lage, etwas weg von der Hauptstrasse, somit ruhig in der Nacht. Trotzdem in Fussnähe von Restaurants, Tankstelle, einer super guten Bäckerei und einem sehr schönen Park! Zimmer hatte eine gute Grösse, das Bett war bequem, das Badezimmer sauber. Kostenloser Autoabstellplatz direkt beim Zimmer.

AC has not quiet mode. If you're sensitive to noise, your options are - use earplugs or be cold.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke

I can’t think of anything. We got stuck in Bishop because of an avalanche 40 miles north of Bishop, the road was icy and you could only go through if you had four wheel drive with chains on all four wheels.

It was an old motel. The room was really small. It had a wall heater that came on pretty often it was really loud. It was the only room we could get and it was better than sleeping in the car.
