Pros - amazing new ownership and management. They are working on community building and updating the motel. Room was very clean and they were very accommodating. Comfortable bed. Cons - motel is dated for sure.

I think we were there in off-season. There was nobody at the desk. There was a phone to call for service. When we called they came and could only offer us one room key. There was no ice and there was no screen or covering on our outside storm door. We skeedaddled out the first thing the next morning.

Very low end. Minimal everything. Had to ask for a couple of glasses and manager went to buy ice. No ice machine.

Clean and affordable

It's a very nice motel right off HWY 36. There is a park nearby, which my kiddo ran around the morning before we left. The room was big, and everything was in working order. The shower, TV, wifi, microwave, etc., all worked. It's a great little spot if you find yourself in Western Kansas.

New owner is warm and welcoming. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cute. Nostalgic- it’s a motor lodge from the 1950-1960’s - so cute! The pool was nice, inviting with clean- water sparkling clear. The next day, a local farmer had fresh, just-picked produce for sale adjacent to the motel. I got to meet local people who were so nice. There was a nice sense of community present. This confirmed my thoughts about how I felt very safe at this property. You can tell owning his own hospitality property is this owner’s dream. So-The new owner has a vested interest in this property’s success.He is gradually making renovations and repairs. But the important stuff, (safe, clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, nice amenities, hospitality, etc.) is all already provided. And, at a great price! Some minor cosmetic fix ups needed. For example, the finish on the doors has scratches and needs refinishing. Some screens on the screen doors need replacing. My bathtub faucet was slightly running when I checked in and wouldn’t turn off all the way. But this didn’t affect my stay in any way. But this may bother some people. The owner is working on these issues as they arise. It’s evident the owner is working hard to enhance the property and bring everything back to excellent condition.
