Circle R Motel

It is as close as we could find to the east entries of Glacier National Park.

Really expensive for very basic facilities, presumably because it’s located near the national park.

Not many options to stay near east glacier, this is not a great option either, as we learned.

The entire motel was old and worn. No WiFi, no working TV.

Air conditioner iffy. They brought a fan. Difficult to open door with key. Tv programs very limited

The view of the mountain. Near restaurants

The pillow is so thick and you have neck pain sleeping on it. It is so uncomfortable. The room rate is very expensive for the quality of room you get.

No WiFi, no tv, no window, sheets were dirty

The location is actually quite beautiful as it faces the mountains/glaciers. And the Glacier Lodge wasn't open but it is within walking distance as is a nice little store and a breakfast place. The food is very good there and the store was stocked with all you need really. The room was very clean and comfortable. The person at the desk was kind and helpful. We arrived VERY early and he allowed us to leave our luggage and stay in the very comfortable lobby until our room was ready. There also was a very fun cat that greeted us and kept us company.

The town is remote but there isn't anything I can think of that I didn't like. We came at a time - about a week early - that things like shuttles to the park, and visiting the lodge were not open or running.
