Mount-N-Lake Motel

There was a park in front of the motel with bbq grills and playground equipment. It has a fairly nice view of the lake. The refrigerator was a nice size, there were two in the room one was not working properly. Being able to park the car in front of our room was a bonus. The area did feel save even at night. Being able to go outside at night and sit in the park to look at the stars was very cool. Having picnic tables in front of the room was a nice touch, made it easy to eat in front of our room and have a nice few of the park.

The floor was dirty so we went and purchase our own wet swifter to mop the floor. The stove hadn't been cleaned and the storage compartment underneath was dirty with questionable things in it. The bathroom only had one little towel bar that could only hold two bath towels, the hand towel and the washcloth were in the kitchen area. There was no place to put toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was way to low to the floor. The mattress cover had stains. The doors deadbolt was not well aligned to the doors wall frame, we had to jiggle the door a bit to make it sink in. The thing that really disappointed us the most was that I had spoken to someone in advance about bringing our pets along. I was told that the pet fee would be waived but when we arrived we were charged cash and given a handwritten receipt. Really disappointing.

All quiet, nice people. I had a hard time locking dead bolt and they gave me another room. Very kind and were happy to help. It was very convenient to the rafting company, too.

Room was not clean, underside of bed was not clean at all. Light fixture next to bed did not work. This motel is in serious need of an upgrade.

Do not book here, they are scammers. I made a mistake when reserving and booking resulting in both me and my son paying for the same room. So we paid double. I kindly informed the motel about this asking them to refund my son's amount since they already had received my amount through Booking.com. They didn't responsd to my message and refuse to refund the money. I've never experienced such bad service. It is just stealing. Don't go there.
