front door was in horrible condition looked like it had been locked in ,the toilet seat was broke,the tv volume was to loud couldn't adjust,the laundry facility was expensive,very run down in appearance,plaster off the walls

This place is just dirty. Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

I usually like to talk up affordable places, but this time I cannot. Red Horse is a genuine health hazard. Between heavily smoked-in rooms, likely intoxicated staff member, unsanitary beds and mold…. What a wild stay. Least the deposit was reasonable.

There was cockroaches. It was cold. There was no comforter in the room.

Nothing apart from it suited my travel arrangements adequately when I planned my vacation and had a car park and that's about it, being charitable. I didn't stay to find out whether the WiFi worked.

This establishment utterly sullies the reputation of Booking.Com. It is in total disarray and in need of urgent refurbishment to make it faintly adequate and as a result I decided to find alternative accommodation for the night despite having paid. The first room I was offered had no curtains and blankets, bearing in mind that it was sub zero Celsius temperatures that night. The second room offered had something quite unmentionable on one of the bedspreads, no blankets again although while the curtains would have offered privacy but they were clearly too long and draped on the window sill. I'm far from certain that the bed linen was clean either. I felt that neither room had adequate locks for my personal security.
