Wonderful , simple place, cozy, warm , exceptionally kept. The location is close to North Creek and about 25 minutes from Gore. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking It's the best value for money you can find in the entire region

Not double beds in the rooms / no AC / fire pit area was messy

This stay was just minimal at best. It was like pitching a tent. No tv. Internet u had to walk outside in the frigid cold to reconect just to listen to music off my phone bc there was nothing else in the room. The room was cozy , tiny and boring. Most places off the fliers in the room would not deliver and some were closed at 7pm. I think for the hundred dollars u spend a night cable or better internet isnt much to ask for. I would only recommend if your just needing a place to put your head down for a night, but if your going to need a place you can go enjoy a weekend get a way this place isnt it!

We had room #2, which had one bed, a desk, a chair, and an eletric kettle to boil water for the provided tea, oatmeal, coffee, and hot chocolate. There was a mini fridge, but no microwave. The room had a heater built into the wall, but also has a portable heater, and a fan. There was a small coat closet with a few hooks and hangers to hang things. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, hand soap, body soap, conditioner, and lotion. The pool was not ready yet, so I cannot comment on that. But the outside facilities had fire spits, as well as picnic tables under a tent. Firewood is provided. It was about a 5 minute drive to Indian Lake, where there were a few shops to stock up on supplies.

Since there is no phone signal, you are reliant on their wifi. However, the connection was very spotty. It kept cutting out for long periods of time. The mattress was not comfortable. It was very hard, and left us with aching backs every morning. The room needed wardrobes/dressers to store clothing and items. There was hardly anything, so we just had to put our clothes randomly strung around. The water takes about 15 minutes to get warm. The shower has really horrible water pressure. It is hard to rinse off, because the water just trickles out of the showerhead. The bathroom could have used a few more hooks on the walls/on the back of the door, to hang all of the towels.

We loved the location, the decor and the simplicity. Thank you for providing tea/cocoa and the kitchenete. This was a great bang for the buck and I would definitely return!
