Alpine Motel

The staff at the front desk (in the main hotel a few blocks away) were very nice and helpful - they pointed us to some good restaurants and things to do during our stop in Jackson. The motel itself was quiet and tidy, but it is a single-story motel so don't expect anything too fancy.

The front desk not being at the motel area was a bit of a hassle, but since we had a car this wasn't a huge issue. The room's fittings could be refurnished, but this may not be important to most budget travelers.

It was very quiet and a short walk to downtown. Kitchen was well equipped- except for a corkscrew.

No staff onsite if there is an issue.

It’s hard to beat this place for a reasonably priced property a few blocks from downtown Jackson. It’s not new, but it is clean and well maintained. Room included a good sized fridge and microwave. The towels were big and fluffy, which is a nice touch for a property in this class. Note that the management is at another property a couple of blocks away, so check in is not on site.

Jackson is a small city, so almost everything is in the center. The staff is friendly and does everything to help. Thank you for ordering me a taxi. Clean room.

For three days while I was here, there was no Wi-Fi in the room, I had to go out into the yard to get it. The description when I booked indicated a view of the inner courtyard, but this was not there

The location is close enough to amenities, but also far enough from the town square to be quiet and relaxing. We had an issue with our hair dryer and staff responded very quickly to bring a new one. We had everything we needed there. Room was clean. Continental breakfast was available.

The beds weren't very comfortable for us.
