Had roaches when we woke up

And did get a credit for that was not good stay

I called direct to book my room & asked for a pet room which was offered w/the quoted rate. When i arrived after my 12 hour drive & it was 10 pm, a surly desk clerk that claimed he was also the mgr, exclaimed he had no such reservation & attempted to extort more money. After a 5 to 10 minute argument, he refused me the room. The owners have other hotels within a 25 mile radius & i drove there. The Days Inn Arcadia attempted to keep the $600 claiming i canceled the reservation. It was the worst customer service from a vile desk clerk/mgr. That said, the rooms are also dated, broken equipment & not as clean as one would expect. I discovered that the former owners had retired & sold the facility. Though this is my hometown i visit & its inconvenient to stay elsewhere, id never stay or recommend that particular hotel to anyone.

Large comfortable room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast – cereal, porridge, nice pastries, orange juice and coffee.

Bath was a bit rusty – not a big problem

The property had spiders, sheets were not clean, and had many spider webs

This is an older hotel. just outdated. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and cozy though. Staff was very polite and friendly. Only negative comment I have is the towel I used was stained.

Bathroom and shower weren’t clean and there was only one towel but decent for an overnight stay

Easy on and off highway.
