Comfortable, king bed. Great furnishings in the Saltillo Room.

Never saw any staff

Very cute little family run hotel, it has absolutely everything you need for a very fair price. The bed was comfortable, and they have a cute little record store/vintage shop in the check in area. I love that you can drive up to the room and just unload/park right in front of it.

It's no-frills, but that's OK with me. It's a little far of a walk from a lot of the stuff on main street, and it can be hard to get an Uber later into the night. We managed the walk OK though!

Convenient to town

Upon arrival, had to search for someone to check us in. Their “office” was hard to find and when we did, it had a sign on the door with a number to call. Before we could call, a person came from somewhere in the back of the property. He was friendly and polite and gave us a key to room #4 which was tiny, had one old nasty chair to sit in, the bed and a few random pieces old furniture. The headboard was not attached, so when you sat on it (which one of us had to do since there was only one old raggedy chair to sit in) it banged against the wall. Don’t get me wrong, I love quaint old Mom and Pop motels, but they could do so much to improve! There was no where to put things, especially in the tiny bathroom. Not a shelf or any where to set your shaving kit, toiletries, etc. Very few outlets to plug in your phone, etc. There were piles of something from the trees at the door that could have been easily swept or blown off. Two dirty chairs outside each room with an ashtray we certainly didn’t need. We walked to the back of the property to what was called a sitting area but it was junky with numerous old broken metal chairs scattered about and huge red ants.

Was not able to get door unlocked, had to call for assistance.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. They even went out of their way to locate a spare coffee maker. After being unable to find one they did suggest a very nice coffee shop just across the street.

No coffee maker in the room. Staff tried to find another but were not able to locate a spare. Not a deal breaker. Just a small thing to mention. Oh, we also did have an unexpected knock on the door in the middle of the night. Seemed like possibly a drunk person. It wasn't pleasant.
