The Pines Motel

It’s right in town with everything within walking distance, the hot water was good, the bed was comfortable and they have everything you need to be comfortable.

The carpet needs replacing badly. It felt sticky. I wore socks. Needs a little update.

staff is so helpful and welcoming. The motel is older, not fancy, but comfortable and just what I needed. Little touches make the motel nice, lots of hot water for my shower, great soap/shampoo, and the towels are thick and soft! St. Maries is a nice little town, in a scenic area near a State Park, lots of good places to eat, especially breakfast at the Timber Inn. I felt safe at this motel, easy parking and they were able to give me a ground floor room (otherwise stairs).

there are no instructions in the room left for those of us who are non-techies on how to operate the TV or the air conditioner. We are left with our own ‘intuition’ to be punching the right numbers in the right order to get things to turn on.
