Zion White Bison Glamping & RV Resort

Liked the location and newly opened showers at the pool. Much better than the shower in our bathroom.

We didn’t like how booking and the site had different listings. Seems like their systems didn’t match up so we thought we had a wagon with a kitchen but we didn’t.

I was really excited about glamping in a covered wagon. The room was cozy and nicely designed. The bathroom was tight, especially the shower, but hey, it's a covered wagon. The fountain made a nice white noise at night. The self-check in, and self check out worked well. The location is great for exploring Zion, though a little far for going into the town. There are dining options, but not many. Our unit had a grill and gas fire pit, which we liked. Other units have other amenities.

As you might expect, the covered wagon moves when someone walks (to the bathroom), and the fabric roof flaps when the wind blows, like a tent. Although I was excited about glamping in a covered wagon, my wife and kids didn't care at all, and it's expensive. Over $300. $90 cleaning fee for 1 night. I had the feeling I'd rather be an owner than a customer. Also, in the pictures you can't tell that you're actually right next to the highway and right next to a cluster of tiny houses. It's not as wild as it looks online.

Location was pretty good right in between La verkin and Springdale. The beds were comfortable and clean. The outside personal fireplace was nice. Stargazing was good. The soaps in the shower were all good.

There wasn't a table inside our place. Granted it was very small so no room for a proper table like some sort of small fold down/up table (bolted to the wall )would have been nice and quite possible to have one of those installed in there.

We truly enjoyed sleeping in the wagon — it was such a unique experience for us. Its proximity to Zion Park was the main reason for our stay, and seeing the White Bison was an unexpected bonus!

The beds are comfortable. The setup is beautiful, the rooms are cozy. The fire pits are great for s’mores.

It is possible to hear TVs from other wagons but on faintly.

The location was optimal, about 20 mins from Zion National Park. The views were stunning even before entering the park, and the experience of staying in a wagon wheel was fantastic. It has a private bathroom, as well as a grill and a fireplace that we enjoyed. Overall our stay was truly a glamping stay, and it was worth it. Just one note: if you are staying in one of the wagons without the kitchen, you need to bring your own supplies (plates, utensils), or risk paying for the overpriced items at the local store.
