the lock on the door was broken and the smoke alarm was on the floor. the room smelled like mildew and my husband and I both got sick in 1 night

The location is great, close to fishing piers and local businesses.

The parking lot lights are more like small solar flares. The curtains allow to much light in. Hard to sleep.

Wasn't aware there was breakfast available.

The mattress was very hard and the room had a faint odor. My guess is moisture from the AC unit in the room. I ended up buying a diffuser to combat the smell.

They really need to work on their customer service, if you didn't have customers you wouldn't make an money to pay your bills and support your family. Palacios really needs to build a different hotel so they can put these horrible people out of business. If you don't want to deal with the general public don't be in the customer service industry. The room wasn't even worth the 80 dollar I spent, dirty and the mini fridge didn't even work. If you want a dirty room and horrible customer service stay here.
