Everything was so rushed. Food, services & activities are not that good. It's so expensive, but facilities & activities don't meet the description & expectations.

Our stay on the Halong Sapphire Cruise was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, the crew demonstrated an impressive level of organisation, seamlessly orchestrating all the activities and meals to ensure a memorable experience for everyone onboard. One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking through caves in a tranquil lagoon – it was such a serene and beautiful adventure. The stillness of the night on the water, with the bay illuminated by the glowing lights of the surrounding ships, was absolutely breathtaking. It was a moment of peace and beauty that we’ll never forget. Our room was spectacular, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping around the entire space, offering uninterrupted views of the stunning bay. We especially loved the jet spa bath in our room and the luxury of having two private balconies – the perfect spot to soak in the scenery. Our only regret? Not booking more than one night! The crew were incredibly joyous and helpful throughout, and we are so grateful for their exceptional hospitality. The sunset party was a delightful way to unwind, with happy hour cocktails and karaoke providing a fun atmosphere for socialising with fellow cruisers. For those seeking a quieter time, the room offered just as much comfort and relaxation. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to our wonderful guide, Da, who went above and beyond to retrieve my passport from my hotel in a different city. I wasn’t returning there after the cruise, and what could have been a stressful ordeal was handled with incredible ease. Da was an absolute blessing and a true pleasure to meet – I cannot thank him enough for his help and kindness. If you’re considering a Halong Bay cruise, the Halong Sapphire is an absolute must. It is a truly magical experience, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Not booking more than 1 night & more time for swimming in the beautiful water would be great.

A must to do the food is great

We travelled about a week after the typhoon went through Ha Long (Sept 2024), so the water was still littered with debris, and not the pristine waters that we had enjoyed a year previous. Probably because of typhoon cancellations, we were upgraded and stayed in a fantastic room at the rear of the ship. We had a ridiculous amount of space, excellent air-con, drinks delivered to our room, a huge private balcony, and a bath/ shower overlooking the most stunningly beautiful bay. On deck there was a fully stocked bar which was staffed until about midnight, making me exceptional Margaritas. In the afternoon a group went to the limestone caves and beach. There was a cooking class and games taking place. Mr King and his offsider "Power" were excellent hosts, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy every minute on board. (Thank you, gentlemen) We took kayaks out in the very early morning, before the sun was too hot. These were brought to the ship so we didn't have to do the set kayak run that most of the ships do, with a million other peole. It was peaceful, gentle on the hangover and there was no rush to return equipment etc. All meals were great and the dining room was really lovely. Having the entire crew wave us off was cute. I would readily use Sapphire Cruises again.

Leaving! This is the second time I've done a cruise overnight in Ha Long Bay, I really want to stay for a fortnight, but can't fit it into my quick travels, think seriously about whether 2 nights might be better for you.

Lovely experience all together. It was a fantastic 3D/2N Cruise. I would recommend the 3D if you have the time since you explore way more of Ha Long and Lang Ha bays. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The food was exceptional, we truly enjoyed every meal. The activities were abundant and well organised and everything worked like clockwork. Very comfy bed and the shower had great pressure. AC worked perfectly. The staff was very kind and professional so the whole experience was made very smooth. 10/10.

Nice and clean. Big enough room. Bathroom excellent.

Check out time from the room was 9 am. Though we stayed at the cruise till 11 am. I think they should allow guests to use the room, specially washroom till 11am. It was difficult for the ladies to use common washroom! Their check in time was around 2:30 pm. 3 hours is more than enough to get all rooms ready for next batch of guests
