We loved our stay - beautiful views, really comfy room, good food (catered for vegans and veggies), and great activities!

Great experience, biking kayaking fishing swimming and chilling ! The host went above and beyond to accommodate us ! Everybody was so sweet and kind (great cook also)

Not anything worth reporting. Would not book again!

TLDR; The tour guide was very endearing, but the cruise itself is a complete scam. The boat looked nothing like the photos provided and lacked most of the desirable amenities, so any good review you read here is probably fake/unreliable. The entire first day was spent on a smaller boat which picked us up around 11:00 and took us to a few spots to swim and kayak - all of which are activities you can do on a simple day trip for a fraction of the price. We were travelling from a remote part of Cat Ba, and were told we could either get ourselves to the wharf for 11:00 or be picked up at 14:00 (forfeiting several hours aboard the cruise). We hired a speedboat to get there in time for an additional cost, and didn’t get to board the actual boat we would sleep on until 17:00. My friend and I had booked the Deluxe King Room with twin beds - 24m2, and had we not asked our guide about it again, we would have been put in a regular one-bed room. The room we stayed in was much smaller than measurements above and felt very drab and dated - definitely not worth €110/pp. Above the sleeping quarters, there were two floors. One with a dining room where meals were served, another just for sunbathing. The boat was short staffed that evening and we had a set menu and very few options of drinks/snacks to choose from (e.g there was no fresh mint, so the alcoholic options were to drink beer or rum & cola / gin tonics). Meals were quite underwhelming/repetitive, and the service quite slow. The staff aboard the boat that evening slept on mattresses in the dining room once the last guests had gone to bed. As friendly as our guide was, we weren’t able to get a clear itinerary from anyone as to what we would be doing and when. At some point in the evening, he came to tell us that the company had booked us on an earlier bus transfer the next day, which meant we would have to debark from the boat even earlier than expected.

This is an overnight stay on a cruise. We had an amazing time on the cruise and a wonderful guide. As we were the only two people, it was a private experience and he was very flexible in the activities we could do. The cruise included dinner, breakfast and lunch that was delicious.

The cruise boat itself is a bit older. Could use an update. Also some weird smell after flushing the toilet, but given that you are on the water it was acceptable.

Was a completely different boat to the photos, but was actually much nicer. Our room was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

I like the food , the room The staff are friendly The trip was fun I like my room it have a sunbath chair at the front and a bathtub.

Lovely stay would definitely love to stay again.!
