Fantastic location with exceptional game viewing, Mike was a great guide with intimate knowledge of all the game and birds, he went all out to accommodate all our requests. The raptor bird viewing was amazing. Great team all round that went out of their way to make our stay really special…which it was!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – An Unforgettable Safari Experience! We’ve just got back from Ndzhaka Tented Camp and honestly, it was one of the best safaris we’ve ever had. Everything just clicked from the second we arrived. Our guide Elvis was brilliant — really knowledgeable, super passionate, and he went out of his way to make every game drive unforgettable. His tracking skills are incredible, and the way he told stories about the animals and the bush made it so much more than just spotting wildlife. We had some amazing sightings and came away learning heaps. The food was a real highlight. Chef Percy’s homemade bread was something else, and every meal had that authentic homemade taste — fresh, tasty, and beautifully done. Our favourite was dinner around the boma fire under the stars, with the sounds of the bush all around us. Absolute magic. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, always smiling and happy to help with anything. They made us feel so welcome, like we were part of the family right away. Our tent was spotless and really comfortable — the perfect blend of luxury touches with that true bush feeling. Falling asleep to the lions and hyenas calling through the night and waking up to the African sunrise right outside was something we’ll never forget. Ndzhaka just gets it right: incredible wildlife, fantastic service, great food, and a proper authentic safari vibe. We left with hearts full of memories and we’re already planning our next trip back. 10/10 in every way — can’t recommend it highly enough!

What an amazing stay at Ndzhaka Tented Camp! I chose Ndzhaka Tented Camp because i did my research and Sabi Sands was just too expensive for me. I only stayed one night. It was one of the nicest safaris i have had at Ndzhaka Tented Camp. The guys made me feel very welcomed as i drove in. Everyone was friendly. Really went out of their way to help me. The camp is really well looked after. It’s under new management now and they’re doing an amazing job. My tent was super comfortable and spotlessly clean. You could hear the bush around us at night. There are no fences which i loved. The animals just wander through whenever they feel like it. We saw lions about 500 meters from camp. They roared all night long. The hippos and hyenas also made a lot of noise. There was a hyena walking on the deck right outside my tent. The night other guests told us they’d seen a leopard in the camp too. Being in Manyeleti next to Sabi Sands and Kruger with no fences in between just feels so real. We had elephants grazing near the tents one evening. This is wild Africa, not the fenced off version you get at some places. We later learned that Sabi Sands lodges are quite limited where they can drive. Manyeleti has open areas for looking for animals. The food at Ndzhaka Tented Camp was outstanding. The chef truly knows his stuff and the food was fresh and flavourful. Our guide Mike was brilliant too. He was super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about it. He took us off-road. Got us incredibly close, to a leopard and her cubs. Those are the moments you come on safari for. We left with smiles and so many great memories of Ndzhaka Tented Camp. We can’t wait to come for a longer stay next time. If you’re after an intimate bush experience definitely book Ndzhaka Tented Camp. It is highly recommended!

We liked everything

We had a great time at ndzaka camp, exploring the South African bush. The camp was frequently visited by wildlife, so we could watch grasing Nyalas during the relaxing times between the two daily game drives which are offered by the camp. At night times we could experience the bush by listing to all kind of sounds including insects, birds, hippos and big cats. The stuff of the camps is very motivated to make your stay as good as possible, starting by chef Percy who prepares varying, authentic, and good food. The highlight of our stay were of course the game drives with the guides Elvis and Sylvie. Elvis and Sylvie made the Safari an unforgettable and informative adventure. They tried their best to consider the individual wishes and interests of the participants of the Safari. We had a lot of great sightings, including lions and cheetah cubs. It was incredible how fast Elvis could spot a variety of wildlife, while driving. Moreover, in times we were a bit unluckily with sightings he had some fascinating bush mysteries to share. In the morning and after sunset it could get cold on the vehicle, therefore they offer warm ponchos for the drives.

Some rooms are still under construction, because they are renovating the campsite. The result will be great :)

Das Ndzakha Tented Camp war definitiv eines der Highlights unserer Reise. Schon vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Die Stimmung im Camp ist entspannt und herzlich. Was uns besonders begeistert hat: Hier erlebt man die Natur wirklich hautnah. Das Camp ist offen gestaltet, es gibt keine Zäune, und die Tiere können sich frei bewegen. Genau das macht den Aufenthalt so besonders. Man fühlt sich mitten in der Wildnis und nicht wie in einer abgeschotteten Lodge. Das gesamte Team war einfach klasse. Debbie und Vincent waren immer da, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat, und haben sich toll um alles gekümmert. Percys Essen war jeden Tag super lecker und nach den Safaris immer ein Highlight. Und Hudson muss man einfach erwähnen: Er hilft mit dem Gepäck und begleitet einen abends mit der Taschenlampe zum Zelt. Gerade wenn irgendwo ein Tier unterwegs sein könnte, fühlt man sich dadurch gleich viel sicherer. Unsere beiden Safaris mit Elvis waren absolut fantastisch. Eine am Abend, eine früh morgens und beide waren komplett unterschiedlich. Elvis hat über 30 Jahre Erfahrung und weiß gefühlt alles über die Tiere und die Natur. Besonders cool fanden wir, dass er nicht einfach jeden Tag dieselbe Route fährt. Er hat uns gefragt, welche Tiere wir gerne sehen möchten, und die Fahrt danach ausgerichtet. Dadurch war jede Safari etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.
