The atmosphere was good. People very friendly

Jacobsbaai Backpackers is a magical place, with its many plants and succulents and beautiful sculptures that are everywhere. You can get pancakes and coffee for breakfast, there is an outside bath that can be booked for the whole family, and visiting the fairy and pixy garden was a unique experience. The hut we stayed in was perfect, simple and super comfortable. From the backpackers it takes only a 10 minutes walk to the ocean, where you have the choice between a calm bay and a more adventurous beach with big waves!

The manager Altavia was extremely nice and tried to accommodate us with another place as she could see we were not happy,I would want to work with her any time

The room was not as advertised and it was just a bed in a small Bigelow,the kitchen is very far and the kitchen was not clean,there was a smell in the kitchen and you could feel by just standing in the kitchen it was not dirty.the fridges had a bad smell and was not clean

I loved the location of our accommodation. It was near the Pixie Garden, which was honestly the highlight of my entire trip across many destinations a long the West Coast of South Africa. The staff (spesifically Altavia) were amazing and helped us even when we called at a truly inconvient time. The cinema room was a nice suprise and it was fun to use. Finally, the kitchen had all the necessary supplies my friends and I needed to prepare a good meal.

It would have been nice if the wifi signal was a little stronger near our room, but it is honestly a priviledge in general to even have wifi!
